Privacy policy

This policy describes what Electrician Practice Test (Romio Group LLC, “we”) collects, why, and the choices you have. The service is offered to customers in the United States.

What we collect

• Email address, when you request your diagnostic results, buy, or sign in. Sign-in uses one-time email links; we never store a password.
• Study activity: the questions you see, your answers, timing, scores, exam date, and questions you flag. This is the product; it is used to build your study plan and readiness estimate.
• Purchase details: Stripe processes your payment and shares with us the amount, tax, the last four digits of the card and your billing address for tax purposes. We never see your full card number.
• Technical data: IP address, browser, and device type, in server logs and for fraud prevention.

How we use it

To run the service, deliver what you bought, send transactional email (results, sign-in links, receipts), improve question quality, and, if you have not unsubscribed, send occasional study-tip email about the exam you are preparing for.

Advertising measurement

We use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure whether our ads lead to purchases. We send Meta exactly two events: when you start checkout and when you complete a purchase, along with a hashed version of your email, the order value and standard browser identifiers. We never send your quiz answers, scores, study activity or any other content to Meta or any advertising platform. You can opt out of Meta ad personalisation in your Meta account settings.

Who else sees your data

• Supabase (database and authentication hosting, United States).
• Vercel (application hosting).
• Stripe (payments and sales tax).
• Resend (email delivery).
• Anthropic (AI tutor). When you use the tutor chat or calculation tutor, the relevant question, your attempt and our explanation text are sent to Anthropic's API to generate the response. Your email is not included.
• Meta, as described above.

We do not sell personal information. We disclose it only to these processors, to comply with law, or to protect our rights.

Cookies

We set a session cookie when you sign in, an anonymous identifier so your diagnostic survives a refresh, and the Meta Pixel cookies (_fbp, _fbc) when the pixel is active. We do not use third-party analytics cookies.

Email choices

Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link and our postal address, as required by CAN-SPAM. Transactional messages (receipts, sign-in links, your requested results) are sent regardless, because the service cannot work without them.

Retention and deletion

We keep your account and study data while your account exists. Email support@electricianpracticetest.com to request a copy of your data or deletion; we complete deletion within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax and accounting.

Children

Electrician Practice Test is for adults preparing for a professional licence and is not directed at anyone under 18.
